eRickshaw Simulator
In order to test the batteries under controlled conditions , Optixtal have designed and built an eRickshaw Simulator (see above picture).
The Simulator consist of a 1000 W BLDC Motor , Controller and 2 standard battery sets. One battery set is a control while in the other battery set the Kawach unit is connected in parallel .
Data about the Voltage and Current of the battery being discharged is recorded at intervals of one minute.
More than a million data points have been logged and these have been independently verified by an academic team of the EE Department at BVU.
As the following results show , the Kawach unit improves the range and, increases the life of the battery.
Optixtal have sponsored an eVehicle Laboratory at Bharti Vidyapeeth University, Pune (BVDUCOEP) to conduct extensive testing on extending battery life.
